In February of 2020, Angie was thrilled to have this quilt featured in Quilt Sampler Magazine's Spring/Summer 2020 issue. This was her first published pattern and originally featured fabric from Tula Pink's Monkey Wrench collection from Free Spirit Fabrics (appropriate, we thought!) Then COVID arrived at the same time as the magazine did, and COVID stole the spotlight (Cue sad wah-wah music). Now that we're (mostly) back to normal, the Monkey Wrench fabric line is no longer available, so Angie created substitutions using more Tula Pink fabric. Originally meant to honor a couple on their marriage, this quilt uses two colorways to show the ways that love joins. Use any two colors to create a beautiful reflection of the recipients’ union. The quilt was designed to illustrate the progression of two people becoming one. Each color is floating out in the world on its own, growing as itself.
