Classes & Lectures for Guilds & Shops

Angie has been quilting since 2005 and opened 5 Little Monkeys Quilt & Sew in 2017. As a long-time quilter and long-armer, her passion has blossomed into not only making quilting accessible to anyone but also teaching seasoned quilters new ways to quilt more accurately and efficiently.

Her love of rulers that make quilting easier is the basis of most of her classes, lectures, and trunk shows, and the techniques she demonstrates are focused on these rulers.

Angie is currently booking for 2025 and 2026. Send us an email if you're interested (it's helpful to already have some dates in mind). She will be traveling from Asheville, NC.

Angie's specialty is teaching with Quilters Select brand products and Bloc Loc Rulers. A trunk show with presentation in conjunction with a 1-day workshop is encouraged, to show the many possibilities of the rulers.

Students will be given a supply list and any preparation homework prior to class.

Students will all need to have their own QS or Bloc Loc ruler, and Angie will bring a selection of rulers available for purchase, in case a student doesn't already have their own.

Here is a list of available classes, but rest assured, this is just the beginning and more will be added.

	Dynamic Dresden 3 class options (3 hour, 6 hour or 12 hour) Focuses on Susan K. Cleveland's book, Quilters Select Dresden rulers, and other tools. Students will create a single block as a pillow or table topper. Additional purchase of Dynamic Dresdens is required if student doesn't already own it. 	Good Vibes Table Runner 6-hour class Students will make the table runner, which finishes as 18 x 66" Additional purchase of pattern @ $9.99 per student is required. Click here for supply list.
	Triangle Star Quilt 6-hour class Students will make 1 Triangle Star Quilt Block from the TIS Amazing book. They can choose to make either block in the layout shown here. Click here for supply list.
	EPP by Machine 1-Day class Students will make 1 Soleil Block by Brimfield Awakenings Additional purchase of the starter kits is required. Click here for supply list.
	Twin 60 Techniques 1-Day class Students will make 1 block of the chosen pattern (choose from Stars over Asheville, Stars and Sprinkles, or Dreamweaver) Click here for supply list.

Fees through December 31, 2026:

Trunk show/lecture: $350 plus expenses
6-8 hour class: $600 up to 12 students; $800 up to 20 students
2-day class: $900 up to 12 students; $1200 up to 20 students
3-day class: $1200 up to 12 students: $1600 up to 20 students
