Sunflower Pincushion

Need a quick, easy gift with minimal sewing? This pincushion may be just the ticket! The entire flower is cut from 10-inch squares and formed around a canning jar ring and lid (regular sized). Fill the center with ground walnut shells or polyfil. Since canning lids and rings come in packages of 12, you might as well make them for all your friends. Or better yet, invite them over for a group activity!
