Quick and Easy Raw Edge Applique in a Day

Learn to make a quick and fun wall hanging or table topper. We will be using the Prickly Pots pattern by McKenna Ryan and Angie's technique for raw edge applique. We will learn how to fuse and applique the shapes onto a background. Pattern is included with your class fee, pre-ordering a fabric kit is also STONGLY encouraged. This is the applique pattern for Prickly Pots, a single block quilt pattern by McKenna Ryan's. Measures 32 1/2" x 13 3/4".
All supplies needed for class are available from our store or website. You can also purchase on the day of class. All class purchases qualify for a discount.
Required supplies:
Roll or sheets of Appli-Stick
Sharp scissors for cutting paper and fabric
808 Paper Pattern Adhesive
Quilting Ruler for cutting strips
Rotary cutter with fresh blade
80 Microtex needle
Sewing machine in good working order
Sewing thread in a neutral tone
If you want to choose your own fabric instead of a kit:
1/3 yard of background fabric
1/3 yard border fabric
1/2 yard backing
1/4 yard binding fabric
1/2 yard tulle
Good selection of green batik for cactus and variety of fabric colors for pots.
