Seven Sisters Quilt Class Retreat
Where: 5 Little Monkeys Classroom - 32 N Main St, Weaverville NC 28787
When: April 9 - 12, 2026
Retreat fee will include:
- Thursday night Meet & Greet
- Light breakfast all 3 days and catered lunch on Friday and Saturday
- 5 sessions learning to make the traditional seven sisters quilt
- 10% off all in-shop purchases
- All lessons by Angie
- Prizes and tons of fun!!
Supply List:
· Bloc Loc 4" Diamond in a triangle ruler*
· Ruler for cutting strips*
· Rotary cutter with fresh blade*
· Thread*
· Flatter spray*
· Basic sewing supplies (scissors, seam ripper, etc.)*
*All supplies available at retreat.
**If you want a kit made before the retreat, please order it at least one week in advance.
Fabric Requirements:
7 1/2 Yards of background fabric
1 Jelly roll strip set (minimum of 40 strips) OR scraps equaling 3 1/2 yards
Optional Borders:
First border - 3/4 yard
Second Border - 2 yards
Binding - 3/4 yard
Quilt top finishes 96 x 108"
Pattern is part of class fee
Class Schedule:
· Thursday, April 9:
· 5-9 pm: Set up and Meet & Greet (optional). You can arrive as early as 4:30 pm.
· Friday, April 10:
· 9 am: Classroom doors open
· 10 am: Session 1
· 12 noon: Lunch
· 1 pm: Session 2
· 5 pm: Dinner on your own, then return for sewing
· 6 pm to 9 pm: Open sewing on this project or anything you would like to bring
· Saturday, April 11:
· 9 am: Classroom doors open
· 10 am: Session 3
· 12 noon: Lunch
· 1 pm: Session 4
· 5 pm: Dinner on your own, then return for sewing
· 6 pm to 9 pm: Open sewing on this project or anything you would like to bring
· Sunday, April 12:
· 9 am: Classroom doors open
· 10 am: Session 5
· 12 noon to 2 pm: Open sewing on this project or anything you would like to bring
