Join Carrie in making this handy bag - The small Take A Stand tote makes a perfect stand for the Running With Scissors pattern or for carrying a small iron and supplies. Just fold the Tool Case over so that the inner pockets are exposed. Place the Tool Case "billboard-style" over the upright tote. You'll love the stability and easy access to all your supplies. The large tote will hold the Running With Scissors Tool Case and/or fabric, tools, and more. The SMALL stand-up tote measures 8-3/4"H x 12"W x 6-1/2"D. The LARGE stand-up tote measures 12-1/2"H x 16"W x 8"D.
There is homework for this class - all pieces on page 2 of the pattern need to be cut out, labeled and all quilting on the bag needs to be done before arriving the morning of class (all items on page 2, number 1 - A through C). Please note - do NOT cut out the bias binding - Carrie doesn't do it the way it calls for in the pattern. Non-directional fabrics make this much easier to work with - if working with directional fabrics, be very careful with placement before quilting and cutting out pieces.
